Gary Richard Harris Salem, VA Gary Richard Harris, age 71, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 in Salem, Va. Born March 9, 1950 in Welch, W. Va. to the late Laura Pearl Harris. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Communications Specialists. After 21 years of service, he retired from Channel 10 in Roanoke, Va. After his retirement, he enjoyed reading, watching movies, and was an avid gamer. He is survived by many friends including a long-time family friend, Bruce Bishop. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 at D. R. Henderson Funeral Home.
