Gaye Lynn Keith Gilley

Gaye Lynn Keith Gilley, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at her home. She was a member of Chilhowie Baptist Church where she loved to attend and worship. Gaye enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Throughout her life she was always an avid sports fan. She always kept up with the Miami Dolphins and her New York Yankees. She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Ivan Keith, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Travis Lee Gilley and wife Ashley of Glade Spring, VA; her mother, Joyce Ann B. Keith; brother, Lawrence Ivan Keith, Jr.; sister, Tina Goff; grandchildren, Warren Gilley, WyLee Gilley, Wilkes Gilley, and Weller Gilley; aunts and uncles, Bobby and Hazel Porter, Elwanda Holley, Kathy Keith, and James Armstrong; nieces and nephews; Zachary Keith, Derek Goff, Mathew Keith, Emily Keith, and Dana Goff; many dear friends; and also her special companion her dog, Ruger.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Chilhowie Baptist Church with Pastor Charles "Chuck" Herrell and Pastor Cody Sturgill officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
