Geneva Gray Dinsmore, age 90, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. She was born in Squire, W. VA on August 22, 1932 to the late Sherman and Helen Meredith Jones. She spent most of her life as a resident of Saltville, VA and in recent years she was a resident of Heritage Hall in Grundy, VA. Geneva worked at Virginia Glove Factory in Glade Spring, VA until she retired. She was a faithful Christian with a beautiful voice that she used to sing of her love for the Lord. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Junior Jones, Gorman Jones, and Buford Jones; one sister, Margaret (Jackie) Brooks; ex-husband, Calvin Dinsmore; her only son, Robert Lee Dinsmore; nephew, Dennis Allen Brooks; brother-in-law, Dowell Edward Mullins, Sr.; and great nephew, Aidan Edward Coon.

Geneva is survived by one sister, Esther (Jones) Mullins of Cedar Bluff, VA; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews; her two closest friends, Peggy Hogston, and Chris Puckett.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, VA with Rev. Carl Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery, Glade Spring, VA. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
