Saltville, VA George Bradley "Brad" Collins, Jr., 53, of Saltville, VA, went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2021, after a long battle with diabetes. Brad was an avid Tar Heels fan who always thought of others first. Brad was born to the late George Bradley and June (Roberts) Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Sheets; step-father, Charles Boardwine; and father-in-law, Jerry Smith. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Donna Smith Collins; a special niece he thought of as a daughter, Tessa Crawford; step-mother, Vivian Boardwine; mother-in-law, Sue "Pepsi" Smith; sister, Linda Smith; brother-in-law, James Elwood Sheets; sister-in-law, Teresa Crawford and husband, Mike; and Amy Wheeler and husband, Glenn. Nephews, Curtis Crawford and wife, Mary; and Harrison Wheeler. Nieces, Stephanie Smith; Beth Sheets, Mary King and husband, David; Jessica Crawford and Alex Wheeler, along with several great-nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. at D.R. Henderson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Mount Rose Cemetery Mausoleum.
