Gloria Chapman Davenport, age 81, went to be with her Lord, Friday, December 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Nola Chapman; her husband, Herbert Davenport; and brothers, Jim Chapman, and Richard Chapman.

Gloria is survived by her 3 children, Randy Davenport and wife Kim of Bristol, VA, Rhonda Davenport and husband Kevin Bellamy of Unicoi, TN, and Kimberly Cornett and husband Greg of Damascus, VA; 4 grandsons, Brandon Arnold and wife Kayla, Cody Davenport, Drew Davenport and wife Meghan, and Alex Cornett; 1 granddaughter, Sarah Grace Cornett; great grandchildren, Landyn Arnold, Jaren Arnold, Worleigh Arnold, Hallace Arnold, Brenton Davenport, Elliott Davenport, and Andee Jo Davenport; siblings, J. D. Chapman, Ronnie Chapman, and Cathy Holmes; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Sawyer Stevens and Isaac Eldreth.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA with Pastor Mark Mitchell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be, Randy Davenport, Greg Cornett, Kevin Bellamy, Alex Cornett, Cody Davenport, Drew Davenport, and Brandon Arnold.
