Grady Lamar
Hall
Jan 28, 1981 — Apr 2, 2025
Saltville, Va.
Grady Lamar Hall, age 44, passed away at this home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Grady was a larger-than-life character. If you lost your smile, he would lend you his. He loved God and put him first in everything. He enjoyed helping in the community and when he became sicker, he would still be there with a smile. He was a big kid at heart and working with the youth brought it out of him.
Grady's most prized accomplishments in life was his children. He would always be found at the football or the soccer field, wrestling meets, concerts and plays. He loved his children with everything in him and he was always so proud of them.
He loved preaching God's word and the one thing he wanted was for everyone to let Christ in their hearts and be saved so that we can all be together in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie and niece, Miranda McCray.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Tonya Hall; children, Katelyn Hall, Victoria Duncan, Ethan Frye, Gabriel Frye, Morgan Frye (his blonde monster as he called him); and Godson, Thaddeus Goodson; brothers, Roger Hall and Kenny "Bub" Clardy; mother-in-law, Judy "Momma" Duncan and husband, Cecil Bradley; father-in-law, James Duncan and wife Connie Duncan; sister-in-law, Wendy Odum and husband Jason; brother-in-law, Bryan McCray; nieces, Mattie, Lauren, Gracie and Zoee, Shayla and Angel; and nephew, Landon; great niece, Delilha, and great nephew, Evan; special friends, Megan and Austin Goodson.
