James Douglas "Doug" Eastridge

James Douglas "Doug" Eastridge, age 71, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 12, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Doug was a jack of all trades throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with all of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fowler P. and Mary Ruth Eastridge; his childhood sweetheart and wife of 37 years, Charlotte Eastridge; his brothers Guy Eastridge, and Gene Eastridge; sisters, Christine Debord, Eula Coe, and Elizabeth Holmes; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Eastridge and Doris Eastridge; brothers-in-law, Herschel Debord, and J.W. Holmes; sons-in-law, Joel Williams and Danny Marshall.

He is survived by his three children, Becky Eastridge, Brian Eastridge, and April Williams all of Chilhowie, VA; three grandchildren, Heather Carter and husband John, Cory Jackson and wife Amanda, and Ashlee Williams all of Chilhowie, VA; great-grandchildren, Aria and Caiden Jackson of Chilhowie, VA; siblings, Doris Holmes of Martinsville, VA, Betty Coe and husband Roger of Bluefield, VA, Diane Collins and husband Bobby of Saltville, VA, Jack Eastridge, of Saltville, VA, Clyde Eastridge and wife Guilda of Saltville, VA, Donnie Eastridge and wife Charlene of Saltville, VA; sister-in-law, Kate Eastridge of Abingdon, VA; brothers-in-law, Charles "Cubby" Coe of Saltville, VA, and Don Holmes of Bristol, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Collins officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery in Chilhowie, VA.
