James Bobby Kestner Saltville, VA James Bobby Kestner, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Valley Health Care in Chilhowie, VA. Bobby was a member of Buckeye Hollow Pentecostal Church. He was a retiree from Brunswick Corporation in Marion, VA. He raised horses, beagles, and enjoyed fishing. He was a man of simple pleasures. He loved to be around his family, friends, and his animals. Bobby will always be remembered and loved for his humor, wit, and his ability to fill a room with joy and laughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gladola Kestner; one sister, Bernice Argenbright; niece, Karen Sue Roark; and two nephews, Harry Lee and Bill Argenbright. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty B. Kestner; his son, Bryan Kestner and wife Regina; one sister, Emma K. Call; four grandchildren, Lauren, Cameron, Leah, and Campbell Kestner; and also, several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Mount Rose Cemetery with Pastor David Gibson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Henderson Funeral Home from 10:30 until 11:30 prior to the procession to the cemetery. Masks are required and everyone is asked to please follow Covid-19 precautions.
