James E. McNew, age 69, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Fulton and Patsy Smith McNew; and nephew, Zachary Strzgowski.

James is survived by his sister, Mary Strzgowski and husband, Dennis, of Stevensville, MD; niece, Andrea and husband, Patrick; nephews, Dennis Jr. and wife, Anne, and Matthew and wife, Caitlin; 6 great-nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kyle.

A private burial was conducted at Mt. Rose Cemetery on May 26, 2026.
