Johnson City, TN James "Jim" Lynden Stewart, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Irene Stewart; and brothers, Richard and John Stewart. Jim is survived by his wife Rita Bridges Stewart; children, Tina (Derek) Lewis, Jackie Stewart, Darlene Stewart, and Richard Gill (Patricia); brother, Lloyd Stewart; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, VA. Everyone is asked to follow COVID19 guidelines.
