James Eric Worley

James Eric Worley, age 41, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2024 on Good Friday. He is now singing and praising Jesus with the Angel band. Eric was known for his many talents. He loved singing and playing the guitar, but his number one love and light of his life was Colt; his son.

The last year of his life have been filled with ups and downs; a lot of health battles that he tried his best to overcome, with his son as his main motivation. Eric will be sorely missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Worley; grandparents, Garland and Ruth Worley, Sexton Coe, and Delaphine Colley.

Eric is survived by his mother, Susie Worley; his son, Colt Worley; brothers, Kevin Boyd (Wendy), Michael Burgess (Jennifer); special niece, Chelsey Burgess; special cousin, Sonni Neal; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved dearly; his best friends, Andy Surber, Thumper Salyer, David Woodward, and Jason Wasson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Billy Gwinn and Pastor Gary Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Saltville, Va. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Skylar Burgess, Josh Boyd, Thumper Salyer, David Woodward, Tim Peak, Bo Woods, and Andy Surber.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
