Jane M. Clear

Jane M. Clear, age 83, went home to be with Jesus, her lifetime Lord and Savior, and a host of dear friends and family awaiting her arrival on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was a devout Christian from birth, giving her life to God around the age of 6, and living for him every day. She was a dedicated member of the First Church of God, Allison Gap. She held the roles of Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who created a loving home for all of her family to share. She will forever be missed but will remain in the hearts of all that knew her.

She was born on July 18, 1941, to the late Aaron "Earn" Mabe, Sr. and Pearl B. Mabe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years of marriage, Oscar Clear; and her sister, and brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Gary Clear (Missy), Greg Clear (Jeanette); two grandsons, Chase (Kelsey), Dustin (Sami); two granddaughters, Brittany (Trey), and Crystal; great-granddaughters, Mia and Naomi; great-grandson, Milo Browning; brothers-in-law, Don and Dave Clear; and special nephew, Bobby Mabe (Linda).

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Michelle Copenhaver for all of her love and care during this difficult time.

Funeral services to celebrate Jane's life will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dunn officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will take place at Mount Rose Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Scott Clear, Jimmy Cardwell, Chase Clear, Dustin Clear, Cory McNew, and Bryan Call will all be serving as pallbearers.
