Janet Yvonne Hess Blevins, age 72, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home. She was born September 13, 1950. She was preceded in death her late husband J.C. Hess and James A. Blevins; her parents, John and Geraldine Elswick; and one brother, John Richard Elswick.

She is survived by one brother, Rex Elswick; sister, Bonnie Hoover; three children, Mary L. Dale and husband Danny of Glade Spring, VA, Tina Worley and husband Tim of Saltville, VA, and Jamie Blevins and Fiancé Trina Debusk of Glade Spring, VA; Nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Nunley officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12 until 1 p.m. prior to the service.
