Saltville, VA Jeffrey William "Herbie" Minton, age 58, passed away at his home, Saturday, October 16, 2021. Jeff was a kindhearted person and would go to the ends of the earth for his kids and wife. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family and his dog "Earl". Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth "Duck" Minton, Sr. and Dreama Ann Davidson Minton. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Monica Lynn Minton; his daughter, Jessica Joyce Minton of Saltville; two sons, Robert William Minton of Johnson City, TN, and Jerry Daniel Minton (Magen) of Saltville; also, a special adopted son Marc Austin of Asheville, NC.; brothers, Jamie Minton (Jerrie), Alvin Minton (Becki), all of Saltville and Kenneth Minton, Jr.vf (Lisa) of Lafayette, GA; sisters, Michelle Sheppard (Billy), and Dawn Minton both of Saltville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Roger O'Quinn officiating.
