Jeffrey Darrell Tolbert

Psalm 3: 1-6

The Lord is my Sheppard; I shall not want.  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.  Yea thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Jeffrey Darrell Tolbert, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.  Darrell was born on June 15, 1958 to the late Samuel G. and Attie Virginia Tolbert.

Including his parents, he was preceded by his two brothers, Charles "Charlie" and George Talbert; and one sister, Mollie Taylor.

Darrell enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.

Those left to cherish his memory is his brothers, William B. "Bill" Tolbert, Dale Talbert and wife Regina; one sister, Lena Stevenson and husband Louie; and several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Darrell's wishes, there will be no public services.

The family would like to thank the Johnston Memorial E.R. and the third-floor doctors, nurses, and staff for their wonderful care.
