It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Rose Miller Patton, age 38. She left peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a devoted mother, a warm and friendly presence, and free spirit who had joy in life. She had a gentle, soft-spoken nature that made everyone feel comfortable in her presence. Jennifer was a spontaneous individual who loved enjoying nature and all of Gods creations. One of her greatest passions was spending quality time with her children and supporting them in all aspects of their lives. Jennifer embraced these moments with boundless love and enthusiasm. Her children were her pride and joy, and they will forever cherish the memories they created together. Jennifer had an immense love for her family and friends. Her heart was vast, and she made sure that every person in her life felt cherished and valued.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude Counts, Sr. and Audrey Counts; and her uncle, Claude "Bruzz" Counts, Jr.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her fiancé, Travis Hawkins; her two daughters, Summer Nicole Morehead, and Bella Patton; her son, Bailey Patton; her parents, Ricky Lee Miller, Sr. and Sheila Miller; siblings, Ricky Lee Miller, Jr, and Christy Ann Powers; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Martin officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at Henderson Funeral Home.
