Jerry Roger Mutter, age 61, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Ballad Hospice House in Bristol, TN. Jerry was born on October 13, 1962, to the late Earvin Edward and Gladys O'Quinn Mutter. He grew up in Chilhowie, VA and attended Chilhowie high School. Including his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Suzy Call; mother-in-law, Ruby Davidson; and brother-in-law, Ray Brewster.

Jerry was a very kind man with a big heart that loved his family. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed at Merillat as a machinist for 30 years. Jerry loved sports and he was a devoted fan to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beverly (Tina) Davidson Mutter; sisters, Dorothy Phillips, Joycie Mutter, Elsie Wheeler, Barbara Mercer (Charles), Patricia Harris, and Nora Greer (Kevin); brothers, Arnold Mutter, Donald Mutter (Connie), Ronald Mutter (Carla), Kevin Mutter (Kim); father-in-law, Thomas Davidson; step daughter, Heather Widener; step sons, Bryan Griffey (Lora), and Bobby Griffey; sister-in-law, Sharon Caudill (Billy); brothers-in-law, Tommy Davidson (Robin), Butch Rippeon (Mary), and Michael Williams (Deborah); step grandchildren, Emalie Widener, Dalton Widener, Jayden Griffey, Brynn Griffey, and Garrett Widener; step great-granddaughter, Ava Widener; special friends, Ronnie Rose and Linda Russell; his "fur babies", Fluffy, Sweet Pea, and Pretty Girl.

In honor of Jerry's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
