Jerry Lane Tolley

Jerry Lane Tolley, age 71, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. He was born on January 5, 1953 to the late James "Buck" and Hilda Allison Tolley. He was a 1972 graduate of R.B. Worthy High School in Saltville. Jerry had a very kind and soft-spoken spirit. He married the love of his life Kitty Harris Tolley on April 25th of 1980. Together, they navigated life's journey as inseparable partners. Jerry worked for 30 years at Kennametal until his retirement. He will be missed by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Tolley.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Kitty Harris Tolley of Saltville; his son, Evan Tolley and wife Angelyne of Kingsport, TN; granddaughter, Haleigh Tolley; sister, Sandra Faye Druien and husband Ron; father-in-law, George Harris of Narrows, VA; sister-in-law, Kathy Arnold and husband David of Saltville; two nephews, Scott Druien and Jason Tolley; and niece, Jennifer Druien.

A graveside service for Jerry will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Collins officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
