Jesse Wayne Wilson, age 12, a bright and joyful young boy, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2024. Born on November 22, 2011, Jesse brought boundless happiness to all who knew him during his short time with us. Known for his infectious smile, Jesse had a heart full of love, especially for his siblings, whom he cherished deeply. Jesse's love knew no bounds, and he showed kindness to everyone he met, forming special bonds with the people at his school where he attended E. B. Stanley Middle School. In his 11 years, Jesse touched the lives of many, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever. While his time with us was brief, the impact he made will live in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jesse was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jesse Wilson, Carl and Margie Stanley; grandfather, Dennis Stamper; and great-aunt, Wilma Lou Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Crystal Grubb and husband Daniel, and Aaron Stamper; his grandparents, Michael Wilson and wife Delores; grandmothers, Lisa Shore and Liz Stamper; great-grandmother, Willa Wilson; his siblings, Michael Lee Grubb, Brack Stamper, and Kayde Swift; aunts, Melissa Kate Clearly, Cassie McNew, and Merina and husband Tony Lucas; special uncle, Jonathan Stanley; and many other family members, and special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Henderson Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 12 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Following the service, the burial will be at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville.
