Jonathan Eric Smith, age 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2025. He was born in Abingdon Virginia on November 23,1977.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sadie Smith.

He is survived by his two children, Tyler and Emily Smith; his brother, Tommy Smith and fiancé Joanna; nephews, Aaron Smith, Zack Smith and fiancé Taylor, and Ben Smith; great- niece and nephew, Willow and Waylon; and Karen Chapman Smith.

Following his wishes there will be no services.
