Joyce Marie Robbins Olinger

Joyce Marie Robbins Olinger, age 73, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved all of her family and her world revolved around her grandchildren. Joyce loved shopping trips and going out to eat. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lee and Mary T. Robbins; her husband of 42 years, David Olinger; two brothers, Thurman and Junior Robbins; mother and father-in-law, Thurman and Margaret Olinger; brother-in-law, Jim Broyles; and grandson, Lucas Greear.

She is survived by her three daughters, Melissa Greear and husband Chris, Angela Thomas and husband Freddie, and Rachel Terry and husband Jimbo; one sister, Merkie Broyles; two brothers, George and Stuart Robbins; eleven grandchildren, David Olinger-Vance, Robert Greear, Lillian Olinger- Vance, Chris Thomas, Dakota Testerman, Matthew Smith, Ryland Greear, Lee Smith, David Terry, Connie Terry, and Nevaeh Terry; three great-grandchildren, David Scotty Blankenship, Grayson Lane Robles, and Faithlynn Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Mefford officiating. The burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 12 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
