Saltville, VA Julius Monroe Blevins II, age 39, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Julius loved Star Wars and listening to his music, especially Metallica. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Georgia Blevins. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Diana Blevins; his sister, Sarah Blevins; special cousins, Linda Maiden (who saved his life once with a kidney donation), her husband Daniel, and children, Mathew Lowe, Mattie and Mayson Maiden, Paula and Allan Thomas and son, Elias Thomas who was a Godson to Julius; aunts and uncles, Dolly Lamie, Sam and Ann Neal, and their children Nathan and Emily; and many special friends and extended family. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Rich Valley Presbyterian Church with Pastor Billy Gwinn officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
