Kathrine Marie Fouse Tuggle

Kathrine Marie Fouse Tuggle, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 12, 2023. Kathrine was a Christian who always kept her faith. She was a former Sunday School teacher and she always enjoyed reading her Bible. She had a love for animals, especially dogs. She was also very passionate about gardening and flowers. Kathrine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Tuggle; daughter, Sue McNew and also her son-in-law, Fred.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Holly McNew of Gray, TN; two sisters, Martha Werback and husband John of Abingdon, MD, Minnie Mathews and husband Don of Belair, MD; special caregiver for the past six years, Sandra Crewey; and special niece, Sue Snow Miller of Chilhowie, VA.

Flowers are appreciated, but Memorial donations may also be made to Faith Fellowship Church, 406 Loves Mill Rd, Chilhowie, VA, 24319.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Rich Valley Church Presbyterian Cemetery with Pastor Robert Blevins officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at Henderson Funeral Home between 1 and 1:30 prior to the procession to the cemetery.
