Meadowview, VA Kelly J. Tilson, age 81, passed away Wednesday, April21, 2021 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, VA. He was a member of Yellow Springs Church. Kelly loved playing baseball in his early years, and was an avid fan of Emory & Henry College football and baseball, and loved hunting, fishing, farming and construction, and was a retired employee of Virginia Glove Co. in Glade Spring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Doane Tilson; parents, Claude and Kate Tilson; brother, Paul Moore; sisters, Lola Davenport, and Rosaella Barrett. Kelly is survived by his brother, Roger Tilson and wife Sandy; sister, Kay Johnston; brother-in-law, Doug Barrett; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Dale Myers officiating.
