Saltville, Va.

Kelvin Blaine Price, age 57, passed away at his home on Monday, July 3, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a former employee of USG Company and the Town of Abingdon. He was an avid fisherman. Kelvin was preceded in death by his father, James Richard Price.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Freeman Price; daughter, Emily Moore and husband Grayson; the apple of his eye, granddaughter, Indie Rae Moore; his mother, Edith Helton Price; brother, Charles Price; and his faithful pet and buddy, "Sleet"; and several nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Angela Leal and husband David.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. with Eddie Counts officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va.
