Larry Gwynn Taylor, Sr., age 70, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at The Waters of Bristol, Bristol, Tennessee.
Larry was never happier than when he was out on his Harley and hanging out with family and friends. He and his brother Wade had a special bond, creating countless memories together over the years that he never forgot. Larry was easy going and a great friend to be called upon anytime. He also loved fishing and spending time with all his buddies down on the river bank in Henry Town. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur "Cush" Sanders and Janelle Iona Taylor.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Florence Delphene Taylor; children, Brandy Gwynn Rogers of Marion, Va., Tasha Ann Graf (Christopher) of Saltville, Va., Cherish Chanel Chapman (Matthew) of Chilhowie, Va., Zachary Moses Taylor (Alexis Jones) of Damascus, Va., Sgt Larry Gwynn Taylor, Jr. (Sidney Mattila) of Quantico, Va.; brother, Sanders Wade Taylor (Margaret) of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren, Shane Milhorne, Alyssa Goins, Lance Thomas, Evie Chapman, Eliana Chapman, Emilie Chapman, Esther Chapman, Kawhi Graf, and Elias Graf.
