Meadowview, Va. Leo F. Hayden, age 73, passed away October 25, 2021. He was born in Saltville, Va. on February 7, 1948 and had lived in Meadowview, Va. for many years. Leo was a member of Seven Springs Presbyterian Church (PCA) where he served as a deacon and had also served as treasurer for many years. He also oversaw care and improvements to the Church facilities. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, G. S. and Lucille Hayden; his sister, Cleo McCready; and brothers, Roger and Sam. He is survived by his wife Carrie Rector Hayden; and his daughter, Amy Beth Hayden; a brother, Pat Hayden and wife Betsy of Midlothian, Va. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Rickard and Pastor Tom Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Sidney Parker, Dayton Owens, Mike Thomas, Wesley Wyatt, Matthew Tolbert, and O.D. (Junior) Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be P. J.
