Leslie "Dee" Leon Roark Tannersville, VA Leslie "Dee" Leon Roark, age 78, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Smyth County Community Hospital. He was a former employee of VDOT where he was an equipment operator. He enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, especially with his great-grandson. He spent a lot of his time working in his building. Dee was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gracie Taylor Roark; his wife of 55 years, Mary Allison Roark; one son, Maynard Arville Roark; his brothers; and son-in-law, Joe Pigg. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Sue Pigg; two brothers, Jamie Roark and wife Julie, Early Roark and wife Donna; two grandchildren, William Blevins, Jr. and wife Lauren, Deidre Sara Blevins and partner Tyler Leonard; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
