Linda DeBord Osborne

Saltville, VA

Linda DeBord Osborne, age 73, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Jo Ella DeBord; and her sister, Reva Moore.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the West Main Baptist Church. As the beloved wife of a pastor, Linda devoted herself to the service of the church community. She loved to worship and sing with all of her church family. She poured her heart into the ministry, sharing her unwavering faith and love for God with others. Linda taught Sunday School and was always very involved with all of the children of the church. Beyond her dedication to the church, Linda's love knew no bounds when it came to her family. Her two grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and they affectionately called her "Mimi". She showered them with warmth, love, and wisdom. Linda always kept her house spotless and welcoming, which was a great reflection of her nurturing spirit. One thing she always cherished in life was the annual family vacation spending time with all of her family and creating memories.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 53 years, Willis Osborne; her son, Chad Osborne and wife Tina; brother, Robert DeBord; two grandchildren, Gracie and Ty Osborne; two nieces, Jackie Plumbar, and Laura Pierce; and nephew, Isaiah Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Associate Pastor Mike Wright officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held on Monday morning at 11 a.m. at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, VA.
