Glade Spring, Va. Lois Ann Litton, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Clint and Margie Bernice Bordwine Harris; sister, Doris H. Orfield; and brother, Raymond E. Harris. Ann loved her family and was a friend to all who knew her. She loved gardening, cooking, and collecting antique dishes. She was a 1978 graduate from Emory & Henry College where she earned a bachelors degree. Ann taught school in Washington County for twenty years and also was a bookkeeper for her father's trucking company, Harris Trucking Company. She is survived by her husband, James (Jimmie) R. Litton; daughters, Melissa L. Harris (Sam), and Angela L. Cannon (David); granddaughters, Caitlin E. Harris, Makenzie A. Cannon (fiancé Chris Largen), Emilee G. Harris; grandson, William J. Cannon; sisters, Daphne H. Blevins and Patsy H. Galliher; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Old Glade Presbyterian cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. with speakers, Michael Dutton, Larry Carlton, and Bill Weaver. Music will be provided by David Rennie playing bagpipes. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
