Saltville, VA Lois Minton, age 96, passed away at the home of her son – Sonny - in Bartlesville, OK on Tuesday, January 26. She was a lifelong member of the First Church of God in Allison Gap. Lois was preceded in death by her parents William and Ada Swartz, sisters Cleo Ennis, Dora Lawrence and Nita Swartz; brothers Charles Swartz, Frank Swartz, Earl Swartz and David Schwartz; children Colleen Ramsey, Ann Blevins, David Minton, Vickie Link and Ricky Minton. She is survived by her sister Thelma Swartz and her son James C Minton, Jr. (Sonny) Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday February 5, at the First Church of God in Allison Gap with Rev. David Mumpower and Rev. Jeremy Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Rose Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
