Loudell Ola Gregory, age 76, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 1, 2024.  She was born in Saltville on October 29, 1948, to her parents, the late Othaniel "Dagger" and Nancy Terry Hayden. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Burnell Gregory (Eddie).

Loudell is survived by her husband of 53 years, J. D. Gregory and she was the love of his life; children, Tammie Gregory Tolbert, Michael (Scottie) Gregory and wife Stephanie, and Travis Gregory and wife Kristy; grandchildren, Chad Tolbert (Beth), Chloe Tolbert (fiancé Dakotah Williams), and Jackson Gregory; step grandchildren, Haley Moody, and Laken Snead; great grandchildren, Maddox Tolbert, Rylynn Williams, Wrynleigh Ola-Page Williams; step great grandchildren, Madison, Parker, Paisley, Evan, and Aiden; Brothers, Haynes Hayden (Maxie), Doug Hayden, Hezekiah Hayden, Enoch "Buddy" Hayden (April); sisters, Sue Taylor, Loretta Gilbert (Jimmy), Jenie Atwell (Bub), and Lacy Barker (Coy); special niece, Missy Gregory; and several nieces and nephews.  The family wants to thank Missy for always being there for Loudell.

She was a 1969 graduate of Rich Valley High School.  She was retired from Bristol Compressors.  She loved working in her garden and taking care of her yard.

She was a loving wife to her husband for 53 years.  She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most offering support, wisdom, and love.  She loved her Lord and Savior, and she always told her children to keep God first.  She loved her family, and she loved life.

Funeral services for Loudell Gregory will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Wade Kestner and Pastor Tracy Puckett officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring.  Those serving as pallbearers will be Pete Gregory, Archie Gregory, Chad Tolbert, Junior Hayden, Stevie Hayden, and Wayne Hayden.  Honorary pallbearers will be Maddox Tolbert and Jack Gregory.
