Louise Roark Hayton, age 98, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024.  She was born April 22, 1926, in Saltville to the late James Albert and Eva Griffey Roark.  She was a member of the Buckeye Hollow Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Louise loved to work the word search puzzles, watching Hallmark channel especially Little House on the Prairie.  She enjoyed watching Fox News, People's Court, and Judge Judy.  Louise was a very spiritual lady and worked very hard in her church.  She loved reading her Bible every day and had completed reading it through several times.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Hayton; her son, Cecil Hayton; brothers, James E. Roark, David Roark, and Jason Roark; and son-in-law, Bobby Davidson.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Claudine Davidson, Linda Brown and husband Charlie, and Polly Atwell and husband Cleve; sister, Bertha Moore; daughter-in-law, Peggy Hayton; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Louise Hayton will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Wade Kestner officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring.  Pallbearers will be David Davidson, Barry Davidson, Jamie Davidson, Richard Davidson, Derrick Atwell, Cecil Hayton, Stacy Hayton, and Brandon Frye.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home.
