Saltville, Va. Mandy G. DeBord McCray, age 73, left this world and went peacefully to her heavenly home on September 11, 2021. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was an incredibly strong woman and will be greatly missed by so many. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Kathy "Branham" Maiden; her parents, E. Raymond and Jeanette "Nettie" DeBord; brother, James "Jim" DeBord; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline DeBord Olinger and husband James Olinger. Mandy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Buddy R. McCray; son, Michael Sean McCray; daughter's, Kimberly McCray and Brittany McCray and fiancé Patrick Stowe; grandchildren, David Branham, Tracy Branham and fiancé Megan Maag, and Haylee Hunt; great grandchildren, Thomas Henry, Jeremiah Henry, and Skylynn Henry; son-in-law, Lonnie Maiden; one brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many great friends especially her little dog Wizard who was always with her. She has one soon to be new grandson, Vincent Stowe who she was so excited about and couldn't wait for him to be here. Memorial services have been changed due to the passing of her son. A memorial service for Mandy and her son, Michael will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Friends Community Church in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Mike Maiden officiating.
