Glade Spring, VA Margaret Ruth Pratt, age 86, passed away Thursday January 7, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. She was retired after 40 years from Washington County Schools at age 84, helping special needs children. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Bolden and Berta Johnson; and husband Schultz Pratt. She was also a member of the Pond Mountain Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Mitchell Pratt; daughters, Kimberly Kiser and husband John, and Karen Kennedy and fiancee`, Andy Porter; sister, Dot Poff and husband Ted; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan Kiser, Jessica Sprankle, Lee Kennedy and Lucas Kennedy; 6 great grandchildren, Matthew, Madison, Noah, Lucy, Carson and Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday January 11, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home with Elder Eddie Lyle, Elder Roger Williams and Elder Jacob Hartzog officiating.
