Saltville, Va.

Margie Cahill, age 90, of Saltville, passed away on May 14, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital after a long struggle with heath issues. She was born on May 11, 1933 to the late William T. and Annie Robbins. She was the fourth of 10 children born to this special family.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved working with her flowers in the Spring and Summer and cooking for her family, especially at Christmas. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind and she will always be in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Buddy" Cahill; sisters, Judy Robbins, Lottie Cullop, and Millie Lindsey; brothers, Edward, Maynard, Reginald, and Roy Robbins.

She is survived by two loving daughters, Frankie Felty (Jerry), and Joey Sword; three grandchildren, Jimmy Parks, Ashley Sword, and Matt Sword; sister, Pansy Morris; brother, Curtis Robbins; and many nieces and nephews. She also had special friends and neighbors, Johnnie and Pam Pickle who she loved and who helped her in so many ways over the years.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Parkey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
