Martha Kate Collins Gobble, age 87, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025.  Martha was born February 22, 1938 to the late Roy and Ruth Collins.

Martha was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend to many.  Martha loved attending church at the Church of God in Glade Spring.  She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens in Glade and having fellowship with all her friends there.  Martha loved going shopping and loved family get-togethers.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Arch Gobble; daughter, Syble Cecilia Weddle; son, Ralph Arch Gobble, Jr. "Sport"; great grandson, Jackson Lee Mabe; and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her loving memory is her daughters, Eleanor "Chooney" Hopkins, Nancy Lynn Eastridge, Rebecca Jane Gobble, and Reginia Corell and husband Rick; two sons, Michael Leroy Gobble, and Mark Allen Gobble; brothers, Sammy Collins, Paul Collins "Bossy", and Bobby Wayne Collins; sisters, Patty Colpetzer and Susie Wiederman; grandchildren, Ralph Gobble, Billy Joe Weddle, Jr., Shannon Weddle, Amanda Jo Gobble, Brittany Nichole Gobble, Michael Brown, Terri Layne Brooks, Randall Eastridge, Jr., Marsha Denise Gibbs and husband Randall, Amoria Corell, and Aaron Mabe; great-grandchildren, Landon Tyler Mabe, Dylon Dixon, Chasity Eastridge, Cameron Gibbs, Peyton Gibbs and Miley Weddle; great-great grandchildren, Conor Eugene Arthur and Cash Rider Gibbs; special young lady, Lilly Puckett and special friend, Terry Blackwell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Martha Kate Collins Gobble will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Ray Wolford officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Saltville, Va.  Those serving as pallbearers will be Randall Eastridge, Jr., Aaron Mabe, Ronnie Collins, Randall Gibbs, Shannon Weddle, Anthony Collins, Devon Collins and Allen Collins.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Gibbs, Peyton Gibbs and Mark Gobble.
