Mary Katherine Frye, age 75, went home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Maxie Prater Frye; brothers, Eddie Wayne Frye, David Brooks Frye, Johnny Lamuel Frye; sister, Dina Jo Davidson; brother-in-law, Ronnie Allison; and niece, Elizabeth Fay Hughes.

Mary Katherine is survived by her sisters, Nioka C. Frye and Fay F. Allison, both of Saltville, Va.; nephews, Christopher "Shane" Allison and wife, Erica; Douglas "Jay" Lohman and wife, Trisha; Charles Allen "Chuck" Harris; Michael David Johnson and wife, Kari; Stephen Frye; John Ashley Frye and wife, Kim; Henry Walker Frye and wife, Beverly; and Eddie Wayne Frye, Jr.; nieces, Jennifer Fawne Hanel and husband, Joe; Sheri Yvonne Anders; and Christine Juanita Frye; and special friend and roommate, Tina.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 243 Kent St., Saltville, VA 24370. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Chuck Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery, 1013 E. Main St., Saltville, VA 24370.
