Mary Sheppard Jones, saved by the grace of God, passed away peacefully at her home on February 5, 2024. She was a life long member of Quarry United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George (John O) Jones and Scott Weir; her parents, Tom and Margie Sheppard; her brothers, Van, Toddy, Sam, and Roy Lee; her sisters, Betty Carnell, and Evelyn (Sis) Lee.

Mary is survived by her children, Doug (Tammy) Jones, and daughter, Brenda (Walter) Holley; grandchildren, John and Rosemary Holley, and Tanner Paschal; great-grandchildren, Lilah and Ellie Holley, and Kentley Paschal; and her sister, Hilda (Johnny) Cannon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home. An entombment service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Rose Cemetery Mausoleum in Glade Spring, Va. with Pastor John Surber officiating.
