Mary Elizabeth McCready Tolbert

Mary Elizabeth McCready Tolbert, age 91, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at her home. She was a member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church and also a member of Ladies Auxiliary. Mary was a wonderful person with a giving heart, she never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mamie McCready; her husband, Clarence E. Tolbert, Sr.; son, Clarence E. Tolbert, Jr. and several siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Talbert; six grandchildren, Donnie, Wendy, Shane, Beth, Josh, R.D., and Angie; five great-grandchildren, Cody, Aleah, Alex, Jonathan, and Alexis; daughter-in-law, Joe; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Mount Rose Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Frye and Rev. Robert Prater officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
