Mary Sue McGuire Glade Spring, VA Mary Sue McGuire, age 75, passed away on Friday June 25, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very loving, caring, and outgoing person. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Isabel Doane; one brother, Donnie Doane; and daughter, Deborah K. McGuire. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John McGuire; one son, Johnny McGuire and wife Jeanette; daughter, Rhonda Russell and husband Jeff; two sisters Dreama Wix, and Brenda Taylor; two brothers, Eugene and Mike Doane; three grandchildren, Lorin, Cynthia, and Scotty Russell; seven nephews, Darrel and Larry Wix, Jason and Travis Taylor, Josh, Donnie, and Daniel Doane; three nieces, Barbara, Katie, and Jessica Doane; and great niece, Rosalyn Wix. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Frye officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
