Saltville, VA Maxine Galliher Talley, age 78, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. She was a very faithful Christian and a true believer in her Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. "Pug" Talley Jr.; parents Fred and Denton Galliher; brothers, Jimmy and John Galliher; sisters Elizabeth Eller and Revonda Lamie; and granddaughter, Maxie Marie Stanley. Maxine is survived by her son, Charles F. Talley, III and wife Jackie; daughters, Betty Stanley and husband Frank, and Rosetta Beverly and husband Michael; sisters, Phillis Puckett (Swanson), Darlene Kimberlin, and Ida Marie Kessee (Alan); brothers, Sammy Galliher, Freddy Galliher, Joey Galliher (Kim), Paul Galliher, and Buddy Galliher (Karen); grandchildren, Heather Stanley, M.J. Beverly, Austin Stanley, Dalton Beverly, Maya Stanley and Chris Stanley; great grandchildren, Emma Beverly and Elliana Beverly; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in the Henderson Family Cemetery.
