Saltville, VA Michael "Duck" Allison, age 64, passed away at his home on Friday, June 25, 2021. He was known to his daughter, and granddaughter as "the man that hung the moon". He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Thelma Allison; and two siblings, Donna and "Butch". He is survived by Patricia Coe Allison; one daughter, Amanda Allison; two grandchildren, Cali Danieley and husband Charlie, and Cameron Surber; four brothers; two sisters; several special nieces and nephews; and his cherished "Line brother's". A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 1:30 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
