Michael Joseph "Bristol" Arnold, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Harriett Arnold, and his daughter, Shauna Renee Arnold.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years, Karen Williams Arnold; his son, Christopher Arnold and wife Kasey; Daughter, Wendy Cross; step daughter, Danielle Atkins and husband Timothy; sisters, Patricia Daily and husband John of Newport News, Va., and Martha Phillips and husband Chip of Ferrum, Va.; brother-in-law, Wiley Williams; grandchildren, Allyson Counts and husband Drew, Jacob Arnold, Autumn Arnold, Keyleigh Paschal, and William Bauer Atkins; great grandson, Connor Counts.

He was the owner and operator of Bristol's Garage since 1999. Bristol loved cars, especially Corvette's and loved drag racing with his son Chris. Most of all, he loved and treasured his family more than anything.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Loupe officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, Va. The family requests that all of his Corvette friends bring their cars for the funeral procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Arnold, Jacob Arnold, Eric Frye, Greg Gordon, Davey Delp, and Zac Gentry. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Dye and Dan Shew.
