"As we give back to Him what He hath Given"

Minnie Frances "Tick" Minton, age 87, was walked to the Golden gates with her daughters holding her hand on Saturday, February 1, 2025. As we released her hands she ran into the arms of Jesus. She was born on March 18, 1937 to the late Robert L. and Lucy Talbert Pauley. She was a member and teacher at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Saltville for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Minton, Sr.; her son, Curtis "Dubby" Minton, Jr.; and her sister, Ella Ruth Christoff.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Frances Johnson and husband Claude of Florida, Senah Snider and husband Ronnie of Marion, VA, Donna Hayden and husband Charlie of Saltville, VA, and Sandy Surber of Saltville, VA; daughter-in-law, Sandy Minton of Glade Spring, VA; twelve grandchildren, Bobby Johnson, April Hall, Curtis Johnson, Rebekah Jolly-Pippin, BJ Snider, Joyce James, Rebecca Minton, Denise Ellis, Angie Dickerson, Nikki Keesee, Katie Binner, and Nathan Surber; twenty five great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two brothers, William Pauley and wife Charlotte of Ashland, VA, Charles Pauley and companion Kathy of Saltville, VA; granddaughter in heart, Vanessa Tolbert- Erelino; special prayer warrior, Nyoka Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday February 3, 2025 at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville with Pastor Robert and Brother Jerry "Byrd" Frye officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to the procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Will Taylor, Greg Dickerson, BJ Snider, Nathan Surber, Jr. Nikki Keesee, Joey Ellis, Andy Binner, and Dakota Keesee.

Our heartfelt thanks to her church family at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church for love, prayers, and support, and to Caris Healthcare for the support in helping us to keep Mom home as she completed her journey to her heavenly home.
