Norman Wayne Boyd, age 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Glade Spring, Va. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Hayden Boyd; siblings, Jody Boyd, Sis Boyd, Johnny Boyd, Terry Smith, and Jeff Boyd.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Wilson and husband Andy of Damascus, Va.; his son, Jacob Boyd of Glade Spring, Va.; grandsons, Cash, River, and Reid Wilson; sisters-in-law, Marcia Pickle and Diane Boyd; special nephew, Kevin Boyd; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Church of God of Prophecy, 302 Crescent Drive, Glade Spring, Va. with Pastor Danny Medford officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers and special friends are Danny and Donna Broyles, Wesley Saltz, Jesse Hayes, David and Lisa Thomas, and Wayne Rector.
