Meadowview, Va. Ola Tiller, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was 1 of 13 siblings from Hurley, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doffie and Martha Hurley; her husband, Ira Tiller, Jr; and son-in-law, Lawrence Tiller. Ola was a member of Little Flock Holiness Church in Glade Spring, Va. Her faith and trust in God were an inspiration to all. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed and treasured. She loved singing and playing guitar. She is survived by daughters, Diane Tiller of Meadowview, Va. and Donna Shortt and husband Jeffrey Plough of Damascus, Va.; brother, Burton Hurley and wife Betty of Rosedale, Va.; sisters, Alma Endicott of Abingdon, Va. and Velvy Daniels of Grundy, Va.; grandchildren, Robbie Tiller and wife Sandra of Meadowview, Va., Rhonda Compton and husband Sam of Saltville, Va.; great grandchildren, Katie Tiller Shatley and husband Doug, Sarah Tiller, and Sophia Compton; great great-grandchildren. Colton and Kinsley Chapman, and Emma Rose Shatley. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, Va.
