Otis J. Bise, Jr., age 90, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. He was a member of the First Church of God, past president of the Weekly Religious Education Program, and retired 40 year employee of U.S. Gypsum Co. in Plasterco, VA. Otis was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Mamie Bise; brothers, Irdell Bise and Burton Bise; sisters, Charlotte Spencer and Patsy Tilson.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Katherine "Jean" Bise; daughter, Freda Bise Testerman and husband John; grandson, Lee Testerman and wife Beth; great granddaughter, Alanna Testerman; brothers, Lowell Mason Bise and Jack Bise; sisters, Girthel Smith and Zenobia "Dot" Fore; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 27, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Mack Blevins and Pastor Wes Eller officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the services.
