Pansy Mae (Johnson) Harris, age 84, passed away on January 5, 2025, at Valley Nursing and Rehab in Chilhowie, Va.  Pansy was born on May 20, 1940, in Buchanan County to the late Clyde and Turie Johnson.  She was the last surviving sibling of her family.  Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Blake Harris, and her siblings.

Pansy and her husband, Howard moved to Washington County at a very young age.  She retired from Virginia Glove in Glade Spring after 20 plus years of service where she worked as a seamstress.  Pansy was a very Godly woman and was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Little Flock Holiness Church.

Left to cherish and honor her memory is her nephew Cheyenne Harris and wife Debbie; niece Judy Lester and husband Randall; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Pansy Mae Harris will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Puckett officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will follow at the Glade Spring Baptist Cemetery.
