Paskchal Laverne Puckett, age 66, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Paskchal loved to tell "Tall Tales" and he was always the hero. He loved to fish, loved to watch trains with Marcus, and most of all he liked trying different mountain restaurants and Chinese food was his favorite. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paskchal S. and Laura Puckett; sisters, Frances Parsons, and Geri Lovett; brothers, Ernest, Benny, and Bobby Puckett.

Paskchal is survived by his sisters, Mary Cardwell, Sharon Ferguson, Beverly Puckett, and Lavelle Puckett; his great nephew, Marcus D. Barnes that he raised as his son; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Glade Spring Baptist cemetery in Glade Spring, VA with Pastor Mark Baumgardner officiating.
